Quirky Alts :)

Hi all!

1) Have read and accepted guild rules. Am aware that neither of these statements are sentences.

2) Real name David/ Dave/ Irish Dave/ Irish/ Eejit, currently living in leafy Surrey. I'm a career-changing gardener (used to be Quantity Surveyor's assistant, so boring) and i've worked in RBG Kew (6 yrs) and RHS Wisley (5 yrs). As you may imply, i'm not english, but being born in Northern Ireland means i'm British. I could bore you with the nationality differences as i see them but perhaps another time ^^

3) I have a vivid imagination, tending towards the violent/detailed and graphic, but you won't see this side of me much in-game. My sense of humour is probably 'dark' but that likely has it's roots in the cultural climate of my upbringing.

4) i love my alts too much to have a main, so my highest char is a 116 SB in Everstorm. I was in Eurofighters for a while before it broke up and reformed, also have chars in mythicalheroes and kejo. My sin was in Executioners for those of us who remember that guild ^^

5) Been playing since feb 2008, no lengthy breaks but my job/s have meant i can't dedicate more than a few hours per day to the 'addiction'. Also, i'm not a spring chicken anymore so late-night sieges are a no-no, especially as i have to get up around 6.30 am for work.

6) AOB: I'm generally helpful, friendly, a little sarcastic, empathetic, pedantic (should have been an english teacher, my pupils would have hated and loved me). I'm not rich in-game, but i try to have what i think i want. I guess my motto could be 'Life is to be enjoyed, not endured', but then life is an illusion.....

I always thought you would have a more irish name than nice and simple 'Dave'. Then again, simple by name, simple by nature =D

Crude and disturbing are kinda ccurate too..

I'm actually not ginger, more like dark fair, but if it pleases you i have 5 colours of hair on my body...(not all in the same place!)

Ginger, Grey, Blonde, Light Brown, Dark Brown?

This is getting too personal But i don't really care, so mainly dirty fair, lil bit of auburn, blonde on arms and legs (so i look really white cos i have freckles too), dark brown, and a touch of white on my chin :p

Now peachy, tell us abt ur hair

Well you brought it up.

Also, in my book- Auburn = Ginger, Blonde = Blonde, Dirty Fair = Light Brown, White = Grey and Dark Brown = Dark Brown. Those camaras I put up in your house do not lie.

And I'm Dark Brown all over but like 3 grey hairs on my head D:

Auburn is actually quite distinct from ginger, it's like saying burgundy and scarlet are both red. If i was ginger, or had ginger hair i wudn't be shy in saying so, but it's much darker than the normal perception of 'ginger' so i go with 'auburn'. And BTW peachy, aren't u a bit young for grey? 0.o

I am fully aware of what Auburn is, I did hairdressing you know- and no it's not just standing around chatting, we had to study the science of hair and shit. Auburn is essentially browwn with a lot of red pigment in it- same as Strawberry Blonde for blonde hair. But to the untrained eye, both Strawberry Blonde and Auburn can be interpreted as Ginger.

Yes, thank you very much for that Pooh. Someone like me, whose image is everything is going grey, so have a good ol' laugh. =.="
